About

I am a wife to a very patient husband, a blessed mummy to our beautiful daughter and adopted human mother to Charlie our pampered pooch. I love cooking, reading and drinking red wine.

I’ve been wanting to blog regularly for quite a few years, but when reading other ‘Mummy’ blogs I felt like I’d ‘missed the boat’ as most mums seem to start blogging when their first child is born. However, when I first became a mummy it was enough of an achievement to get washed and dressed in the morning never mind putting a publishable sentence together!

Now I’m at a point where I’d really like to be capturing our family moments for us to be able to look back at as well as have a place to write about the things that interest me and that I’m passionate about.

I love to connect with people who have the same interests as me, so please feel free to comment on any of my posts and let me know what you think!

  1. Thank you for coming by my blog today! I really appreciate it! I just started my blog last month, and I totally agree with what you said … I can’t imagine keeping up with a blog when my first child was born. 🙂

  2. Reading your blog about your baby boy made me smile my precious grandson was diagnosed in vitro with lissencephaly at 31 weeks gestation sadly he gave up his fight at 36 weeks gestation so we never got to shower him with all the love we have for him it was a long and very difficult jojrney with as im sure you have found there is little or no information or support as it is so rare, im sure just like you baby our jake was also a superhero he still is just in a differnt dimension he will always be my special super hero thank you for sharing
